Hacienda Don Manuel in Brookfield is getting noticed by online reviewers and foodies for its fun atmosphere and authentic Mexican fare.
"We had a lovely time at this authentic Mexican restaurant," said Yelp reviewer Erin C. of New Milford. "There were few surprises to the menu. We enjoyed the roaming guitar singers, a very nice touch."
The Hacienda menu features all of the usual suspects when it comes to Mexican food including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and quite a few off-the-beaten-path selections such as ceviche, and seafood dishes including a nice snapper plate, and fried calamari.
Some favorites from online reviewers include number one the margaritas and other cocktails which get high marks for strength and presentation.
Food faves include the chimichangas, the queso fundido, an enchiladas assortment plate, and of course, the tacos.
The atmosphere is upbeat and the roving singers and guitar players keep it that way without being overwhelming for diners.
Both lunch and dinner are served and delivery is available.
Great place for families, reviewers say. Outdoor dining. Prices are moderate.
